We were sitting at the trunk of his SUV. I was lying on my back, my head nestled over his water jug. He was sitting at the edge, playing his dad’s guitar.
He was playing songs for me, which unfortunately were not familiar to me.
The chilly air and the music from his guitar intermixed, bringing me a sense of calmness.
When he finished playing, he asked me how it was. I didn’t know—I had fallen asleep.
I all I remember is that I had woken up because he kissed me.
